May 3, 2006 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM, Sunday, May 7, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This Sunday we feature Shooter Jennings, Jim Henry, Charivari, the Pop Tarts and much more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Electric Rodeo," the second CD release from Shooter Jennings, the son of the legendary Waylon Jennings. Shooter mixes country and southern rock and roll to create his own unique sound.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "One Horse Town," an EP release from singer-songwriter Jim Henry, who is joined on this release by Tracy Grammer. Jim writes intelligent lyrics and mixes them with catchy melodies.
We include new music from Jennifer Kimball, Cajun band Charivari, the duo of Matthew Sweet and Susannah Hoffs, and more.
We include music from St. Thomas favorites, the Pop Tarts, who will be one of the acts performing at the Arts Alive Fair, the weekend of May 6 and 7.
