Police Need Help Locating Missing Minors

May 3, 2006 – Police are looking for three teenage girls who ran away from a group home in Estate Tan Tan Terrace last week. All three are minors.
Amanda Brin, a 15-year-old St. Croix resident, is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 135 pounds and is dark complexioned with dark brown eyes and black hair.
Sixteen-year-old Valarie Maldonado is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 118 pounds, and has a light complexion with black long hair and brown eyes. When she left the group home, she was last seen wearing black denim jeans, black blouse with a white collar and black sneakers.

Fifteen-year-old Judein Riley is a resident of St. Croix. She is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, has a brown complexion with black hair and brown eyes. When she left the home, she was last seen wearing a black shirt with gold trim, black skirt jeans and black sneakers with black socks.
The three were last seen together near the Mutual Homes Housing Community on or about April 29, a release from Sgt. Thomas Hannah, Police spokesman, said.
Deputy Chief Herminio Velazquez is asking for the assistance of the residents of St. Croix, particularly residents who live on the western end of the island, to help locate these minors or advise them to return to the group home.
Velazquez warned that anyone harboring the teenagers could be arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and spend time in jail.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Brin, Maldonado, or Riley are asked to call the VIPD's Youth Investigations Bureau (340) 778-2211, extensions 6025, 6026 and 6027; the Wilbur Francis Command at 778-2211 ext. 6063; the Anselmo Marshall command at 773-2550; the Ann Schrader Command at 778-9757; Criminal Investigation Bureau at 778-2211 extensions 6031 thru 6037; or Emergency 911.
