May 23, 2006 – The Junior Firefighters Corps is again sponsoring their annual Summer Sensation Summer Camp. The camp serves children from the ages 7 to 16 and will run from June 19 through Aug. 4. It will provide campers with seven weeks of fun filled activities where they can enjoy themselves and also learn to associate with others in a friendly, safe and cooperative environment.
Activities will include: going on field trips and to the beach, guest speakers, sports day, and academic classes in language arts, math history and science. Strict health and safety measures will be enforced. All children will receive a free lunch and/or snack each day.
Applications can be picked up at all fire stations, the Main Post Office and the Junior Firefighters Center in Bournefield.
To reserve a space for your child, the non-refundable camp fee of $165 must be paid no later than June 17. Space is limited.
