June 13, 2006–A hole-in-one was made on each of the three golf courses on St. Croix this past weekend, and it is the first time that holes-in-one have been recorded at each course in a consecutive three-day period.
On Friday, Diane Burns made a hole-in-one on her first swing of the day at the Buccaneer Golf Course's 10th hole.
Doug Menzies made a hole-in-one on the 8th hole at Carambola Golf & Country Club on Saturday, while competing in the University of the Virgin Islands Celebrity Golf Classic.
George Hanright made it a hat trick by sinking his tee shot on The Reef's 2nd hole with a 7-wood on Sunday morning.
Each hole-in-one was witnessed by at least three other golfers.
