United Way, Queen Louise Home Receive Grants

June 19, 2006 – The Queen Louise Home for Children received a $1,000 grant Monday morning from a collaborative effort by the Caribbean Cable and Telecommunications Association (CCTA) and Innovative Cable TV.
The United Way of St. Thomas-St. John earlier received a $1,000 contribution.
Innovative Cable TV officials said that these two charities were chosen as grant recipients because of the service and assistance they provide to the Virgin Islands.
The CCTA's Community Charities Program, established in1993, has awarded more than $150,000 to Caribbean charities during its existence.
Formed in 1983, the Caribbean Cable and Telecommunications Association represents cable and telecommunications providers throughout the Caribbean, as well as the programmers, software and hardware suppliers that support them.
