June 26, 2006 – Clarissa Gabriel of Savan died in Miami at age 71. She was a member of the Elskoe Carnival Troupe for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Cecilia Gabriel; brothers: Herman Mitchell, Leando Gabriel and Emilliano Lake; and sister, Rita Thompson. Other survivors include grandchildren: Orville Browne and Assyria Gabriel; and close friend Dorothy Elskoe; as well as many other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
