Dear Source:
I can only applaud your call for honest debate on the issues and your rejection of personal attacks on your political opponents. Everyone should pledge to do the same and ask their supporters to fall in line. I have been trying to get that point across in the Commentary Section of this same forum. I have read comments like 'B.S.' and 'corrupted', etc. Readers who make those kinds of comments should not find agreement from others but should be told to shut up. One's political opponent is not necessarily an enemy. Constructive criticism should be welcomed but destructive criticism just speaks to the lack of intellect.
I am some one who was born and raised in the Territory and pay taxes on property in St. Thomas. I want to study the various candidate's platforms on how they plan to approach and resolve issues. In my estimation they are all good candidates. However, some are much more experienced and more qualified than others. But may the best persons win.
