June 30, 2006 – Virgin Islands Water and Power Customer Service Offices will be closed on Monday, July 3, in observance of Virgin Islands Emancipation Day and Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Water standpipes will be open on Monday, July 3, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., on St. Croix. All standpipes will be closed on Tuesday, July 4.
WAPA reminds its customers that St. Croix and St. Thomas customer services offices and cashier windows are open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon for their convenience. Payments may also be made at the Authority's drop boxes, at local banks, by mail, or on-line at www.viwapa.vi.
Customer Services Offices will resume regular 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. hours on Wednesday, July 5.
