Public Is Warned About Posters in the Historic District

July 7, 2006 – The Department of Planning and Natural Resources reminds the public that pursuant to the Virgin Islands Rules and Regulations of the Historic Preservation Commission Title 29 Chapter 3, Section 281-11 2(H): "No political signs or advertising of any type is allowed within the historic districts." Posters, banners and bumper stickers that have been erected within these historic districts are to be removed immediately, according to a press release from the DPNR.
