Rupert Venzen Is Dead at 64

July 7, 2006 – Rupert Venzen, better known as "Rupert Beer," died at age 64, on July 2, at his residence. He was a member of the V.I. Taxi Association for almost 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Lenna Venzen; sons: Alston and Johnny Venzen; daughters: Lydia Venzen Morris, Debbie Venzen-Rabsatt, and Denise and Jacqueline Venzen; and a stepson, Trevor Samuel. Other survivors include brothers: Franklyn Donovan, George Smith, Errol Smith, Kelly Donovan, Joe "Finno" Donovan, Arnold Stephens, Vanito Stephens and Junior Stephens; and a sister, Sylvia Stephens. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., at Davis Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at Davis Funeral Home, on Thursday, July 13.
All funeral arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, 774-1464.
