What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

July 11, 2006 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM, Sunday, July 16, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This Sunday we will feature K.D. Lang, Jason Wilber, John Lee Hooker Jr., Tish Hinojosa, Cream and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Reintarnation" by K.D. Lang. This anthology collection showcases the best songs from K.D. Lang's early career when she was being marketed as a country artist. While K.D. has shifted to a predominantly pop sound, she released some terrific country CD's early in her career.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Live and Otherwise" from Nashville singer-songwriter Jason Wilber. The CD collects some really fine live performances from Wilber recorded at various venues.
We celebrate the birthdays of Latin star Ruben Blades, former Police member Stewart Copeland, and Tony Jackson of the British Invasion Rockers, the Searchers. We also remember singer-songwriter Harry Chapin, best known for his story songs, on the anniversary of his death.
We include new music from blues artist John Lee Hooker Jr., Tab Benoit, Marty Stuart, Jolie Holland and more.
We play music from Cream, Johnny Winters, Robinella, Tish Hinojosa and more.

Tune in for a chance to win a copy of "Surprise," the latest release from Paul Simon. Also tune in for a chance to win a fine new release from Bonnie Bramlett titled "Roots, Blues, and Jazz."
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker and Molly Molones.
