Pistarckle Will Audition for 'Madeline's Christmas'

July 25, 2006 – Pistarckle Theater is looking for 12 girls who can sing, as well as one adult woman and one adult man for the winter play, "Madeline's Christmas." Auditions are at 7 p.m. Aug. 2, at Pistarckle Theater in Tillett Gardens.
The musical is based upon the classic children's stories of "Madeline" by Ludwig Bemelman. In this show, every girl at Madeline's boarding school gets sick right before winter break, and it's up to Madeline, a rug salesman and a special miracle to get everyone home for the holidays.
Rehearsals will be afternoons or evenings on weekdays. Some weekend rehearsals may be required. The director is Gary Minyard.
The performance dates are: Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15 and 16. Cast members must be available for all performances and should be on-island through Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 23 – 26.
For more information, call the theater at 775-7877.
