WAPA Water Now Available for Some Midland Road Customers

July 27, 2006 – Thanks to road construction along Midland Road, V.I. Water and Power Authority's residential and business customers in that area have the opportunity to hook up to WAPA's potable water line.
"It's optional," WAPA spokesman Cassandra Dunn said Thursday. The cost to become connected is $75.
Dunn said that since the road is already dug up, WAPA decided to take advantage of the situation to offer this service to its customers.
The area runs from the intersection of North Shore Road and Estate Glynn adjacent to the Capital Service Station west to Estate Coble.
Dunn said residents and business owners interested in becoming connected should call WAPA engineer Elisa Sanchez by Aug. 11. She said that Sanchez will explain the process.
"It's a painless process," Dunn said.
Call Sanchez at 773-2250, ext. 3088 or 3062.
