What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Aug. 1, 2006 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 6. This Sunday we will feature Keb Mo, Hankshaw, Eddie Turner, Maria Muldaur and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Suitcase," the latest release from acoustic blues artist Keb Mo. Keb has been a busy man lately producing CD's for the Subdudes and for Lisa Haley and her Zydecats. He also was a guest artist on the new Dixie Chicks release. This is another fine release from this blues artist who also mixes in some folk in his music.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Hankshaw" by the husband and wife band of the same name. Hankshaw was here in the Virgin Islands a few months ago and attended Anna Cheek's Bolongo Beach show. They hope to be visiting here again and hopefully playing here on their next visit. They have a true country sound.
We celebrate the birthday of Brendan Milburn of the band Groovelily. We also include music from blues pioneer Memphis Minnie on the anniversary of her death.
We play new music from acoustic rocker Darrell Scott, contemporary folk artist Kris Delmhorst, Sugar Pie Desanto, Linda Ronstadt, Ann Savoy, Eddie Turner and more.
We also include music from Maria Muldaur, the Drive By Truckers, the Derailers, Chris Smither, Cherish the Ladies, the Kinks and more.

Tune in for a chance to win a copy of the new Dixie Chicks CD and a copy of the new release from zydeco artist CJ Chenier.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
