Aug. 4, 2006 – Polymnia, a chamber choral ensemble under the direction of Professor of Music Lorna Young-Wright, will present two concerts on Saturday, Aug. 19, at 7:30 p.m., at the Nisky Moravian Church, on St. Thomas and Sunday, Aug. 20, at 4 p.m., at the Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cruz Bay, St. John.
Music of Handel, Wiegand, and Mozart will be presented. A chamber orchestral ensemble comprised of members from the Puerto Rico Symphony will accompany the choral ensemble. Verdelle Porter will be the pianist. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased from members or at the door.
