HOPE Gala Will Raise Funds for HIV/AIDS
HOPE, Helping Others in a Positive Environment, will hold its bi-annual gala at 6:30 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 2, at Wyndham Sugar Bay Beach Resort on St. Thomas.
The tickets for the black-tie event that will raise funds for the AIDS/HIV organization are $100. Civil Rights Movement activist the Rev. Joseph Lowery is the guest speaker, and the evening will also be a tribute to Martin Luther King and Coretta Scott King.
