Governor Re-Nominates Samuel to Parole Board

Aug. 21, 2006 – Gov. Charles W. Turnbull has re-nominated Melville G. Samuel from St. John to serve on the Virgin Islands Parole Board for another two-year term.
Samuel is a former educator in the public school system for 32 years who is presently a member of the V. I. Tax Review Board and has been a member of the parole board for seven years.
In re-nominating him to the parole board, the governor asked the 26th Legislature for its favorable consideration to allow the board to continue functioning.
