Dear Source:
I would like to believe that Mr. Mapp and Mr. Liburd are better people than who their AD suggests. This must have been done without their full knowledge and approval.
However, they had better reign in whoever is working for them and offer a full apology to the people of the Territory. This AD is the most scurrilous, slanderous piece of political trash that I have ever seen – bar none. . Just who of the other candidates are Mapp/Liburd attacking and to which segment of the Islands' society are they appealing?
We all know that mistakes are made in the midst of a campaign and sometimes we go a step beyond. However, when mistakes are pointed out they should be corrected immediately. If these two gentlemen are blind to the incalculable harm that this kind of AD can do to the social fabric of the Territory then they should fold their tent and withdraw from the campaign.
