Board of Elections Gives Information on Absentee Voting

Aug. 25, 2006 – Pursuant to Title 18 Section 664 of the Virgin Islands Code, walk -in voters will be able to cast their votes at the Election System's offices on Aug. 30 through Sept. 8, in the St. Thomas-St. John District. The hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Election System offices, No. 22 Crystal Gade on St. Thomas and at Remainder of Estate Enighed on St. John.
St. John voters can go to the St. John office on Tuesday or Thursday, or to the St. Thomas office, according to a press release from the chairman of the Board of Elections of St. Thomas-St. John District.
