Jazz Arts VI Will Hold Cabaret to Benefit Javi Youth

Aug. 25, 2006 – Jazz Arts VI brings "Wine, A Woman, and Song" cabaret to St. Thomas as a benefit for Javi Youth Scholarship and Music Teachers Programs. Beginning with cocktails at 9 p.m., the show will start at 9:30 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Chef's Table, 10 Norre Gade.
The entertainment will feature Claudette Young-Hinds, singer; Marsvyn David, musical director, bass; Elvis Pedro, guitar; Dimitri Copeman, sax; and Ken Daley, drums. Special guests will be Don Moors on vibes, and singer Debbie Harrell.
There is a donation of $25 in advance or $30. Additional donations will be gratefully accepted for this worthy cause.
