BET’s 'College Hill' Seeks UVI Cast Members

Aug. 25, 2006 – University of the Virgin Islands students have a chance for national exposure and to show the world what being a UVI student is all about. "College Hill," BET's (Black Entertainment Television) acclaimed reality series, will base its fourth season at UVI.
The show is looking for UVI students 18 years and older, who have distinct personalities, are expressive and stand out in social settings, to be part of the season's eight-person cast. The selected cast will live together in a 10-room villa – equipped with a pool, a game room and its own laundry. They will be provided with daily transportation to and from UVI and receive a small allowance.
Open casting calls will be held on the St. Thomas campus in the Sports and Fitness Center from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31. Casting calls will be held on the St. Croix campus in the Student Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4.
"College Hill" is not scripted – it's all reality. For more information, call UVI at 693-1058.
