Aug. 31, 2006 – The Raphael Wheatley Skill Center has begun registration, which will continue from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Sept. 15, at Sugar Estate. It is located directly behind the Lockhart Elementary School and west of Schneider Regional Medical Center.
Those interested in taking courses can sign up for: Microcomputer Application, Aviation Mechanics, Basic Mechanics/Small Engine Repair, Cosmetology or Cabinet Making/Carpentry. Classes begin on Tuesday, Sept. 5, and end on Jan. 25, 2007.
Registration fee is $100, which is payable by money order only. Additional lab fees may apply. For more information, contact the Skill Center at 774-6277.
