Is St. John a Safe Place?

Dear Source:
In the early 1990's the thought that you would get mugged on STJ was almost unbelievable. On STX yes it could happen. The one thing that I found was that if you are stupid then you just might have a problem. I must confess that on occasion I may have behaved without the best of preplanning. But guess what I also learned from some wise people that if you seek a problem it will find you. Now after years I still bring people to STX and guess what NO problems have happened. These people are not lost drunks but they also do have a good time. Yes the Virgin Islands are America's paradise but just like here in Phoenix AZ. You can have issues with others. It would be wise to remember that the person you are talking to is related to the person you talk about.
