V.I. Energy Will Give Tips on Improving Gas Mileage

Sept. 5, 2006 – The V.I. Energy Office will hold Transportation Energy Seminars on St. Thomas on three upcoming Tuesday evenings. The free, public seminars are aimed to help residents learn ways to reduce the costs of getting around on the island. People who are new owners of vehicles or those who just want to know new ways to save gasoline dollars are invited to attend.
Tips will include methods of vehicle maintenance to increase mileage as well as suggestions on driving habits and on making travel plans.
The seminars will be held at 6:15 p.m., on Sept. 5, 12 and 19, at the Housing Finance Authority Building in Frenchtown. The hour-long program will include time for questions and answers.
