Synagogue Warehouse Sale Sunday

Sept. 12, 2006 — Looking for furniture bargains? The St. Thomas Synagogue may have just the pieces you're seeking.
The Synagogue will sell scores of wonderful items at a big Warehouse Sale from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at the old Island Block complex across from the GERS building in Charlotte Amalie.
"These items were donated to us for our annual Antiques Auction held each February," said Helen Goldman, congregation president. "However, we have limited space in the auction, so we're selling items now that we can't fit into the auction."
Along with furniture, the sale will feature flea market tables with household items, electronics, computer parts and other treasures.
"This is a chance for people to get some wonderful bargains," Goldman said, "and most of the furniture is in excellent condition."
Among the items to be sold:
— An antique American oak sideboard.
— A solid cherry French Provincial bedroom suite.
— A king-size water bed.
— A rattan bedroom suite.
— Sofas, chairs, tables, desks, lamps and mirrors.
— Original art.
