FYI: deJongh and Francis Extend Condolences to James Family

Sept. 19, 2006 – John deJongh and Greg Francis, the Democratic nominees for governor and lieutenant governor, today extended their personal sympathies to the family of G. Luz A. James, who passed away this weekend.
"G. Luz James, as an individual, as a father and elder of his most extraordinary family, was an example and a symbol to all in the Virgin Islands that there are no limits to what we can aspire to and achieve. In the private sector and as an active participant in politics and public life, he showed us the value of persistence and hard work," said John deJongh. "Attorney James, radio station owner James, political commentator James, candidate James, are only a few of the many, many descriptions that when taken together give us a picture of the remarkable public life and career of G. Luz James."
"My wife Cecile and Greg's wife Cheryl join us in extending our heartfelt condolences to the entire James family. May the memory of his life of accomplishments give them courage and comfort in the coming days," deJongh stated.
