PTSA Will Have Leadership Meeting

Sept. 19, 2006 The Second Annual Fall Joint PTSA Officers and Administrators Leadership Meeting will be held from noon to 4 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 24, at the Palms Court Harborview Hotel, according to a press release from the Department of Education.
Speakers at the Parent Teacher Student Association meeting will include Commissioner Dr. Noreen Michael, Sen. Shawn-Michael Malone and U.S.V.I PTSA President Margarita Greenidge-Benjamin.
All district PTA officers, administrators and parents are invited and encouraged to attend the conference, entitled "Taking a Stronger Role in Education." The focus will be on the district's newly implemented Wellness Policy, the new science curriculum and the use of assessment results to improve academic achievement.
