Bruce M. Rogers Dies at 61

Sept. 29, 2006 Bruce M. Rogers of Smith Bay died on Sept. 26, at Schneider Regional Medical Center at age 61.
He is survived by his wife, Roslyn Rogers; sons: Steven A. and Tyrone A. Rogers; daughters: Paulette Rogers-Hayles and Patricia Y. Rogers; stepson Basil "Junie" Richards; and step-father Victor Richardson. He is also survived by brothers: Antonio, Vincent and Calvin Rogers; and sisters: Angella Rogers and Sylvia Sella Hendricks. Other survivors include grandchildren: Rea Francis, T'Niqua Rogers, Rakeem Blydin, Kwynn Richards, Ricardo Richards and T-Andrea Rogers; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing from 5-7 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 5, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m., on Friday, Oct. 6, at Wesley Methodist Church, followed at 10 a.m., with a funeral service at the church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery.
All funeral arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, 774-1464.
