Devotional Gatherings
Oct. 1, 2006 – Devotional gatherings to say prayers and read from the Writings of many Faiths are held weekly on St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix. All are warmly invited to attend and participate.
On St. Thomas, a devotional gathering will take place at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at Bodhi Bookstore in Tillett Gardens. For information, call Lynn Berry at 776-0901 or 776-7024. Devotional gatherings with potluck brunch will take place at 10 a.m., on Sunday, Oct. 8, 22, and 29, at Magens Bay Beach. For additional information, call 776-7024 or 643-5059.
On St. John, devotional gatherings are held every Friday at 7:30 p.m. Please call 776-6316 or 776-6254 for information and directions.
On St. Croix, devotional gatherings are held at 9:30 a.m., every Sunday, at the home of Douglas Covey. For additional information, call 773-2376.
Junior Youth Group
A junior youth group for girls and boys between the ages of 10 and 13 is being formed on St. Thomas. The course of study for the group will be "Breezes of Confirmation," prepared by the William Mmutle Masetlha Foundation in Zambia. The workbook is designed to impart essential concepts to the junior youth that will create within them the moral structures that will underlie their decisions and guide their actions as they mature into young adults and active members of society. Exploring Spiritual Topics
