Brief: Forklift Accident Sends Man to Hospital

Oct. 2, 2006 — A 31-year-old man was listed in fair condition at Luis Hospital following a freak workplace accident Monday afternoon at Renaissance Park, formerly VIALCO.
Scott Allen Dustasson was working in the area about 2:47 p.m. when the forklift he was operating overturned, according to Sgt. Thomas Hannah, police spokesman.
"The Traffic Investigation Unit responded to an accident at Renaissance Park and officers found a male lying on ground," Hannah said.
Dustasson sustained injuries to the body, including his head, Hannah said. He was rushed to Luis Hospital and "his present condition was listed as fair after suffering injuries to the head," according to Hannah.
