Oct. 3, 2006 – The Colorado State University hurricane-prediction team of Philip Klotzbach and William Gray are calling for below-average activity for the rest of the 2006 hurricane season.
They think two named storms, one hurricane and no intense hurricanes will form during the rest of hurricane season. The official end to the season comes Nov. 30.
