What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Oct. 10, 2006 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 15. This Sunday we will feature Bob Dylan, Angel Travis, Cole Porter, Guitar Scotty, Deanna Bogart and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is the latest release from Bob Dylan, "Modern Times." It has been getting great reviews and is classic Dylan.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "The Woman in Me" from Angel Travis. Angel has a great voice and the CD is replete with fine, sophisticated pop songs.
We celebrate the birthday of Barry McGuire of "Eve of Destruction" fame. We also remember Cole Porter on the anniversary of his death with Cole Porter songs as interpreted by Aaron Neville, Rod Stewart, Ringo Starr and Linda Ronstadt.
We include music from the Polecats. St. Thomas's Guitar Scotty is a member of this band and will be among the artists appearing at October Sunday on Oct. 22, at Magens Bay Beach. All proceeds will benefit the Family Resource Center.
We include music from John Hall from his recent solo release. Hall is a member of the band Orleans, who will be appearing on St. Thomas on Feb. 10, 2007, to do a benefit for the Nana Baby Home.
We play new music from blues artist Deanna Bogart, PF Sloan, Kate Campbell and Spooner Oldham, Floyd Dixon and more.
We also include music from the Chicago Blues Reunion, Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas, Eric Taylor, Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer and more.
Tune in for a chance to win a copy of the new release from the Mosquitoes, who mix Brazilian and pop in their own unique style. Also, tune in for a chance to win a great new release from Mavericks frontman Raul Malo.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
