BAA Library Continues After-School Program

Oct. 18, 2006 – The Department of Planning and Natural Resources announced that the Enid M. Baa Public Library on St. Thomas will host the third six-week program in its after school series entitled "When I Grow Up–Career Series." The program will take place at 3-5 p.m., from Monday, Nov. 6 through Friday, Dec. 14. Students will meet on all scheduled school days.
It is open to children ages 6-12 or entering the 1st – 6th grade. Participants will be exposed to a variety of careers by using library resources and through visits from local professionals.
The public is encouraged to register immediately due to the 20 child participant limit. Applications will be available beginning Oct. 23.
