Alert: WAPA Service Interruption Scheduled for East End

Oct. 19, 2006 — The V.I. Water and Power Authority is advising St. Thomas water customers that leak detection surveys scheduled for 10 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Saturday will cause service interruptions on the East End water system.
Because such interruptions can disturb naturally present sedimentation, customers should delay or limit their water usage until noon on Saturday to allow
the system to restabilize.
