Oct. 20, 2006 – The Coral Bay Community Council Monthly Forum will meet from 6-7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 23, at the John's Folly Learning Institute. The speaker will be Commissioner of Public Works George Phillips, who will discuss plans for the publicly-owned five-acre parcel at 6-4 Estate Carolina, including the construction of the Vitran bus depot, the cleanup of the fill and other possible purposes. He will also talk about public infrastructure needs and land use in the area. Everyone in Coral Bay is encouraged to attend and share comments and questions on this important and controversial issue.
