Oct. 21, 2006 – The St. Thomas-St. John District Superintendent's Office announced that the 2006-2007 District Junior High School Spanish Quiz Bowl will be held from 12:45 to 2:25 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 13, at the Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School.
Participating schools include: the Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School, Addelita Cancryn Junior High School and the Julius E. Sprauve School.
District Foreign Language Coordinator, Myrna van Beverhoudt said, "The purpose of this activity is to motivate the non-native learners of Spanish to practice and hone their oral second language skills and to showcase their language acquisition gains. The public is invited to attend and offer support to our students."
