Baha'i Community Hosts Noted Peacemaker

Oct. 27, 2006 – Elie Nahimana, the General Secretary of Quakers in Burundi, will speak at 7 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Baha'i Center in Estate Contant. His talk, Healing and Reconciliation after Deadly Conflict, will be on the efforts of the African Great Lakes Initiative, an organization devoted to fostering peace and reconciliation in Burundi and other African countries devastated by war. The Bahai community of St. Thomas is honored to host this reception for Nahimana and warmly welcomes all who would like to hear his inspiring and hopeful message.
