Local Heroes Are Recognized

Dear Source:
A well deserved recognition for our young soldiers. Too many times in the media, the negative images of our youths are displayed. It was quite refreshing to read a positive article concerning what our young soldiers are doing. They were involuntarily sent to Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait to support a mission that they may not have been fully in support of and they represented the people of the Virgin Islands well. They made a mark on foreign soil and have now returned home and taken up where they left off over there, by voluntarily contributing to their own society. Their contribution will have a far-reaching effect on this Home and others like it. It is my ardent wish that others follow suit.
