The Caribbean Writer Seeks Submissions

Nov. 7, 2006 – The Caribbean Writer, a literary anthology published by the University of the Virgin Islands, is currently seeking submissions for its 21st issue. As usual, the Caribbean should be central to the work or the work should reflect a Caribbean heritage, experience or perspective. Writers are encouraged to submit poems, short stories, personal essays and one-act plays. Only previously unpublished work will be considered. (If self-published, give details.) Writers should include brief biographical information and put name, address, telephone number, e-mail address (if any) and title of manuscript on a separate sheet of paper. Only the title should appear on the manuscript.
Special Sections for Volume 21 include:
Caribbean Cultural Critique: Articles on aspects of Caribbean culture, essays assessing the genre and its practitioners, and interviews.
