Taxi Medallions Will Be Auctioned to Veterans
Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs Taxicab Division will hold its annual medallion auction only for V. I. Veterans. Two medallions will be auctioned on St. John, Wednesday, Dec. 20, at the Boulon Center. Bid forms can be picked up at the Taxicab Division's Office on St. Thomas during regular working hours for a fee of $10. All applications must be taken to the Veterans Affairs office for verification of eligibility. Veterans must walk with their DD214 separation document. Bids must be deposited in the bid boxes no later than 3 p.m., Dec. 19.
