Adult Education Courses Offered on St. Thomas and St. John

Nov. 15, 2006 The Virgin Islands Department of Education provides adult education courses to those interested in obtaining a high school diploma, basic education curriculum, General Education Diploma (GED) courses in self-improvement, woodworking or English as a second language (ESL), according to a press release from the Department of Education. Evening classes are being offered at these locations:
Adult Continuing Education at Charlotte Amalie High School
High School Diploma: $100 per semester
GED preparation: $ 50 per semester
ESL: $50 per semester
Self-improvement: $50 per semester
Classes will be held on Mondays through Thursday from 6:15-10 p.m.
Adult Basic Education at Addelita Cancryn Junior High School
Pre-GED: $50 per semester
ESL: free
Basic Education: free
Classes will be held on Mondays through Wednesdays from 6:15-9 p.m.
Adult Basic Education at Julius E. Sprauve School, St. John
Pre-GED: free
Woodworking: free
Basic Education: free
Classes will be held on Mondays through Wednesdays from 6:15-9 p.m.

All fees are to be paid by money order or bank draft only payable to the Government of the Virgin Islands.
