Family Resource Center Holds Annual Food Drive

Nov. 15, 2006 – Family Resource Center is having their annual food drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturday, Nov.18, at Cost-U-Less.
There are two ways to help with the drive. While shopping this Saturday, stop by at Cost-U-Less and drop off a food item with the all-volunteer team from FRC. Contributors can be provided with a wish list for items the shelter needs.
Another way to help is by volunteering to assist the organization with the food drive. There are slots available for volunteers for the afternoon shift. If you would like to volunteer to help the Center collect food items for the shelter, please give Cynthia Farmer a call at 776-3966, or send an e-mail to: cynfarmer@viaccess.net.
FRC welcomes donations at all times of the year. They are the only women and children shelter on the island of St. Thomas. Because of immediate needs of its residents, the shelter must be stocked with healthy food items, paper products, beverages, toiletries, etc.
