Dec. 8, 2006 – Kidscope Inc. invites the community not to
attend their fourth annual "Do Nothing Ball Fundraiser." It is a gala event in the comfort of your own home, on the evening of your choice, sometime between right now and when they invite you again next year. No new clothes to buy, no tux to rent, no hair to curl, no shoes to polish and absolutely no raffle tickets to buy. Simply RSVP them and do nothing(except make a much needed donation!) The organization was created in 1997 to serve child victims of abuse, neglect and sexual molestation. Since that time they have expanded to include anger management, grief counseling, trainings, workshops and conflict resolution. It does not charge for any of its services.
Kidscope is a safe place for children who say they have been hurt to talk about what has happened to them. It strives to obtain justice, and to help children and other family members through counseling, intervention and other services. Saving our children is the most important work we can do. Please help in any way you can.
