Dec. 9, 2006 The Rising Stars Youth Steel Orchestra will present their 25th Anniversary Silver Bells Christmas Concert at 7 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Reichhold Center for the Arts. This year's concert will be free, but tickets are required and can be picked up at ticket outlets: V.I. Bridal and Tuxedo Center in Tutu Park Mall, Modern Music (Havensight), Parrott Fish Music, International Records and Tapes and Reichhold Center for the Arts.
The orchestra will perform a variety of music that will include classical, contemporary and traditional Christmas selections. The Rising Stars will be accompanied by the Caribbean Chorale, the Eudora Kean Singers Choir, vocalists Shaneel Richards and Malvern Gumbs, clarinetist Luben Daniel and pianist Monet Davis.
