Dec. 13, 2006 The Office of Lt. Governor Vargrave Richards and all of its divisions will close at noon, on Friday, Dec. 15. The early closing will allow employees to attend an employee appreciation Christmas luncheon.
The divisions include: Banking and Insurance, Passport, Corporations and Trademarks, Recorder of Deeds and Office of the Tax Assessor. The early closure does not affect the various offices on St. Croix.
The offices will resume normal business hours on Monday, Dec. 18. The lieutenant governor apologizes for any inconvenience the early closure may cause.
