Brief: Parking, Traffic Restrictions Set for Inaugural Events

Dec. 30, 2006 — Streets will close and parking restrictions will go into effect for inaugural events this week as John P. deJongh becomes governor and Gregory R. Francis becomes lieutenant governor, according to Police.
Wednesday on St. John, Police will close the area from the entrance of the battery to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Cruz Bay from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Police advise motorists to use alternate routes until the scheduled events are completed.
