April 24, 2007 – The Virgin Islands Tennis Association will have try-outs for the 2007 V.I. National Tennis Team beginning May 17 and running through May 20, at the Tennis Club of St. Croix.
All tennis players interested in trying out are required to contact VITA International Committee Chair Bruce Wray, at 692-4139, or e-mail bwray@uvi.edu for criteria in order to be eligible, or for further information. The deadline has been extended to Wednesday, May 9.
The V.I. national team will be competing in this year's Davis Cup, the week of June 18, in Guatemala; the Pan American Games, the week of July 13, in Brazil; and the World University Games, the week of Aug. 8, in Thailand.
