July 9, 2007 – Manuela Rivera, also known as "Magui," of Estate Sion Farm, died on July 5, at the age of 54.
She is survived by her father, Rosendo Rivera Gomez; companion, René Encarnacion; daughter, Jocelyn M. Encarnacion; son, Roberto R. Encarnacion; grandchildren: Roberto R. Encarnacion Jr., Julio R. Encarnacion, Alba Z. Encarnacion and Jahi E. Garcia; and great grandchild, Zion'teh J. Encarnacion. She is also survived by sisters: Eva, Felicita, Maria, Elva, Marilyn, Medilicia and Andrea; brothers; Rosendo Jr., Antonio "Atiba," Luis Alfredo, Luis Enrique and Luis Alberto; uncles: Marciano, Jesus and Marcial Rivera; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10:30 a.m., and a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., on Thursday, July 12, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Christiansted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
