St. Croix Animal Welfare Center Will Have Clambake

July 21, 2007 – The St. Croix Animal Welfare Center's 31st Annual Clambake will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Sunday, July 29, at Elizabeth's at the Palms. The fundraiser will feature a menu of steamer clams, shrimp, chicken, hot dogs, corn on the cob and salads. There will also be a dessert table where you can "dress" your cupcakes with all your favorites: sprinkles, M&Ms, marshmallows and lots more. Live entertainment will include the Santa Cruz Brass Ensemble and the Jazz Spirit Troupe of Pointe Dance Academy throughout the day, and there will be games for children as well as a raffle with many outstanding prizes.
The Prosser ICC Foundation and the Palms at Pelican Cove sponsor the event. Tickets, which include food, are $30 for adults and $10 for children if purchased in advance ($5 more if bought at the door). Tickets are on sale at: Arch Shoe Boutique in Frederiksted, Applause, Sunny Isle, Mitchell-Larsen Studio in Christiansted, Lisa's Paint Store, La Grande Princess, Nelthropp & Low, Pan Am Pavilion, Schooner Bay Market and Anna's Café in Gallows Bay, The Animal Shelter Flea Market in Golden Rock and the Animal Shelter in Clifton Hill.
