Aug. 6, 2007 – David Francis Sandy, also known as "Dawud," of Genipe Gardens, Frederiksted, died on July 31, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 52 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Heneritta Sandy; daughter, Naeema Sandy; son, Roberto Sandy; sisters: Joycelyn Norgriff, Sharon Sandy Bennett and Helen Sandy Hector; and brothers: Anthony Richards and Curtis Sandy. Other survivors include aunts: Ruth Francisco and Cora Orr; uncle: Vernon Sandy; godfather: David Hannays; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all who have shown their support in their time of bereavement.
There will be a viewing held from 10-11 a.m., on Thursday, Aug. 9, at St. Patrick's Church, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
